It was the turn of the century and one of the most inhospitable stretches of land in the US had become a magnet for the most deplorable humans in the country. With the feather trade booming and the wading birds nearing extinction, the price of feathers had become twice the value of gold per ounce. Wild eyed outlaws, fugitives, and cold hearted poachers flooded the Everglades and 10,000 islands of Florida to cash in. One audacious man took on the duty of saving the birds against all odds in this wholly lawless 400 square mile wilderness.

This screenplay re-invents the western in a setting more lawless, isolated, and cruel.
More than a screenplay — it is a franchise of flawed and unique characters in a landscape that is a character of its own.
